GOD is Real – We believe there is one true and living God that expresses Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that all three agree as one and that Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Godhead. (Genesis 1:1-3, John 1:1, Matthew 28:19, I John 5:6-8, Colossians 2:8-10)
His Words are True: We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is free from error in its original writings. The Word of God is living and the principle guidelines that believers must look to for truth. The Word of God is the supreme and final authority. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12)
He Sent His Son: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that Jesus Christ was not just a man – He was completely God and completely human all at the same time! His shedding of blood and death eternally covered the sin of humanity. Now, He is seated in heaven and has been given a name that is above all names. Jesus is the only name through which eternal salvation can be accomplished. (Luke 1:26-33, 22:20, 22:69, 24:46, Acts 4:12, Philippians 2:9-11)
We Have His Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity — God — and coexistent with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit has been sent into the world to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit baptizes believers into the body of Christ and becomes our indwelling seal until Christ returns to get us! The Holy Spirit is the giver of spiritual gifts to the believer. (John 16:1-13; Acts 5:3-4; Titus 3:5; Matthew 3:11; Ephesians 1:13-14; I Corinthians 12:1-11)
Man Made Mistakes: We believe that man is the handcrafted creation from God composed of body, soul, and spirit. Man fell in sin in the Garden of Eden that caused death physically and spiritually. (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 3:1-13; Romans 3:10, 5:12, 8:18-23)
Salvation is for All: We believe that anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior can receive eternal salvation. This means you have accepted redemption (being purchased from sin by Jesus Christ), sanctification (being separated for God’s purpose in your life), regeneration (that the Holy Spirit changes you to be more like God), and glorification (that one day, you’ll be just like Him!) (Ephesians 1:7; Romans 10:9-10, 5:7-11; Colossians 1:13-14, 21-22; John 17:16-22; II Corinthians 5:17; I Corinthians 6:19)
We are Eternally Secure: We believe that salvation has absolutely nothing to do with the works of man. Salvation can only be attained and sustained by the one who can give it – God. We believe that those who have wholeheartedly given their lives to God are sealed until the day of redemption by the Holy Spirit and that their eternal salvation is secure through Him. (John 3:16, 10:27-29, 14:16-17, 26; Ephesians 1:13; 2:8-9; Philippians 1:6; I Peter 1:5; Jude 24-25)
We Obey God: We believe that Jesus left clear instructions for believers to be baptized and to receive communion (The Lord’s Supper) on a regular basis. We believe that through baptism, we are buried to our old lifestyle and resurrect a new creation in Christ Jesus. In addition, every time we commune together, we remember how much Jesus loved us by sacrificially breaking His body and shedding blood on our behalf.
